50 Fabulous Reviews on Free Index
I have just received my 5oth fabulous review on Free Index (it's a really lovely one from a wedding couple too!) which now qualifies my business for one of their "Top Rated Company" awards. My average rating is an amazing 4.9 out of 5 and I am currently ranked 6th out of 3,183 UK photographers. A huge thank-you to all the wedding couples who have taken the time to write a review for me. I really appreciate it. 8-)

Prestwold Hall Wedding fair
I will be exhibiting my reportage wedding photography at Prestwold Hall wedding fair on Sunday 28th October from 12noon until 4pm.
Prestwold Hall is one of the best wedding venues in Leicestershire and I always enjoy photographing weddings there. It is situated in Prestwold, near Loughborough (postcode LE12 5SQ for sat-nav users).
As usual, I will be showing some sample wedding albums - both modern storybook albums and traditional matted albums as well as having a rolling slideshow of my reportage wedding photos.
There will be lots of other first rate Leicestershire wedding suppliers at the wedding fair, so if you are planning a wedding, this is an event not to be missed!
N.B. This blog covers just the wedding and portrait side of my business. Please see my Commercial / PR Photography Blog for up-to-date news about the PR, commercial, corporate editorial, architectural and aerial photography and videography side of my business.

Sarah & Soori's Wedding
Here are a few photos of Sarah and Soori's wedding at the magnificent Warwickshire wedding venue Dunchurch Park Hotel at Dunchurch, near Rugby.
The hotel was festooned with magnificent floral displays by Emma at Belle Fleur, which along with classical guitarist Andy Nash's beautiful music, really set the tone for a very special wedding day. As heavy showers persisted throughout the day, it gave the wedding guests longer to appreciate the fine interior of Dunchurch Park Hotel! We did manage to take advantage of a short break in the rain to take small number of photos outside before being rained-on again. While I was taking the still photographs, videographer Richard Wood was capturing the day on video. I found Richard to be one of the easiest videographers I have ever worked with as neither of us got in each other's way and he is a nice bloke too. Sarah and Soori were obviously keen to get everything covered as they had a photobooth by Picture Blast to get lots of silly photos of their guests pulling funny faces. As you can imagine, these photobooths get busier as the night draws on! The happy couple started the evening celebrations by dancing to Take That's Rule the World, sung by Rob Thompson, who kept the guests entertained with his excellent singing.

Jeanette & Rick's Wedding
Here are a few photos of Jeanette and Rick's Wedding at Holy Trinity Church in Barrow-upon-Soar and reception at the fabulous Leicestershire wedding venue Beaumanor Hall at Woodhouse, near Loughborough.
Jeanette's hair was expertly taken care of by Geenious Hair Design of Loughborough and stunning she looked too. Jeanette did all the floral arrangements herself, with some help from her friends Trish Osborne and Ann-Marie Pancholi. Many of the flowers came from Rick and Jeanette's garden, but apparently they saved Tesco vouchers for a year and bought loads of flowers from there for the arrangements. Ingenious! I would never have known that they had done the flowers themselves.
The happy couple travelled from the church to Beaumanor Hall in a lovingly-restored red and white VW Campervan, owned by Rick's best man Stef Ward. Much midnight oil was burned in order to restore the campervan in time for the wedding, but the hard work paid off as it looked immaculate.
Jeanette's nephew Eddie Farrell delighted the wedding guests by playing a beautiful rendition of Debussy's Claire de Lune on the Piano.
While Mo Farah was winning gold medals in London, some of the ladies decided to hold their own "Beaumanor Olympics" by kicking off their heels and racing the length of the lawn.
Acoustic duo James & Jo provided some superb entertainment during the wedding ceremony and were later joined by their excellent covers band The Noise who started the evening by playing Kingston Town for Jeanette and Rick's first dance.
